Lenten & Easter Services

On Palm Sunday, the 9:45 service will include a processional of the children and the adult choir waving palms as we remember Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem for the last week of his life. The 11:15 service will be a blended worship beginning with praise music.

On Holy Thursday, the service will begin at 7:30 pm. We will service communion as a way of commemorating Jesus’ last supper with his disciples. It will be held in Dixon Hall with all seated around the Lord’s Table.

Good Friday is a Tenebrae service of darkness that will begin at 7:30 pm. It will remind us of Jesus’ death on the cross as we meditate on seven last words of Jesus led by the choir.

Our Easter Vigil will take place on Saturday, April 3 at 7:30 pm. We will hear scriptures about God’s salvation of humanity through the victory of Jesus’ resurrection. It will be a candle lighting service of light.

Join us on Easter Sunday at all regular service times. 8:15 is traditional with the choir, 9:45 is a blended service and 11:15 is a contemporary service completely led by a praise band.

*Child care is offered at all the above services. There will not be Children’s Sunday School on Easter.
